I'm back online again after another hiatus, this one while purchasing a house. We've finally completed the process of relocating to Texas. After six months of renting a very beautiful house, we decided to buy it. It was custom built by our landlords, who agreed to sell us their former home and the lot next door. Amazingly, we found our new home online when we sold our condo and suddenly realized we needed a place to move to. We rented it in a matter of hours after looking at photos on a real estate site, thinking it would be a good place to stop while looking for something more permanent. But once we moved in we became so attached to the place we didn't want to leave, and nothing else we looked at ever really tempted us. It feels great to be settled in our own home.
